Impact starts with honesty
We don't have numbers yet. We're building the platforms that will generate them. Here is exactly what we will track, how we will measure it, and why it matters.
What we will measure
Each metric was chosen because it reflects a real change in the world — not because it's easy to count.
People connected
Every donor, recipient and volunteer who uses our platforms. We count real interactions, not signups.
Items rescued from waste
Physical goods that found a new home instead of ending up in landfill — tracked per category and community.
CO2 avoided
Estimated emissions prevented by redistributing goods and food instead of discarding and reproducing them.
Communities reached
Distinct neighbourhoods and towns where at least one exchange happened. Depth matters as much as breadth.
Skills exchanged
Hours of knowledge shared between community members — from coding sessions to cooking workshops.
Crisis needs resolved
Emergency reports submitted and marked resolved via Emergency Map during active crisis events.
Our transparency principles
No vanity metrics
We will not report downloads, page views or registrations as impact. Impact means something changed in someone's life.
Updated in real time
As soon as our platforms go live, numbers update continuously — visible to anyone, no login required.
Methodology published
Every formula we use to calculate CO2 avoided or meals rescued will be documented and open to scrutiny.
Zero invented data
Until we have real numbers, we show zeros. Honest zeros are worth more than impressive fiction.
From day one, every number is real.
The moment our first platform goes live, this page becomes a live dashboard. Every item rescued, every person connected, every kilogram of CO2 avoided — published here, updated continuously, available to everyone.
